I was motivated to become a GHC fellow to be part of a global community of leaders that is committed to making access to high-quality health care a reality for all.
Mariah grew up in Massachusetts and South Florida. She attended the University of Miami, majoring in international studies and geography. After graduating, Mariah interned for both domestic and internationally operating health organizations. She served as the development and advocacy intern at Last Mile Health, completing projects for their Boston-based and Liberia-based teams. She also worked as a member of the development team at Primary Care Progress, working on fundraising and donor outreach. Most recently, she worked as the operations associate at Care 2 Communities where she managed development, communications, and programming projects benefitting Care 2 Communities’ primary care clinics in Northern Haiti. In her free time, Mariah enjoys running and trying out new recipes.
