Title: Non Communicable Diseases Program Officer
GHC provided a meaningful entry point into the health equity and social justice movement at a time and level of participation that I felt my contribution would be optimal.

Marvin Lubega hails from Entebbe, Uganda. Prior to joining GHC, Marvin has been a program resource worker with the International Training Programme in Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) coordinated by the Division of Social Medicine and Global Health at Lund University in Sweden. Marvin has a Master of Medical Science degree with a major in public health from Lund University and a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Mbarara University. During his undergraduate studies, he worked with a community-based peer education project and volunteered as a peer educator. Marvin later worked as administrative coordinator where he helped create a friendly, student-centric forum that facilitated discussions on sexuality and developing responsible habits, attitudes and lifestyles that made them less vulnerable to HIV/AIDS and other life challenges. Marvin enjoys soccer, reading, and traveling.
