Meridah Mukeshimana is from Kisoro, Uganda. She attended Uganda Christian University where she majored in public relations and mass communication. Recently, Meridah worked with Kisoro FM radio as a program manager, presenter, reporter, and news anchor. She gathered the most up-to- date stories on topics such as health, politics, culture, and the environment. Additionally, she attended reproductive health Uganda workshops in Wakiso district as a media activist volunteer, which equipped her with vast knowledge on how to educate the community about maternal health. Meridah also taught journalism at Kisoro International Vocational Institute and Makerere Metropolitan Institute. These two institutions provided insight into what it takes to implement education programs in rural settings.
