No specific background or technical experience is necessary, as each individual Fellowship assignment will require different specific skills.     <answer>GHC is committed to ensuring that young people from all economic backgrounds can take advantage of this opportunity. GHC will provide stipends to cover all travel, living and work expenses for the duration of the Fellowship.  In addition to covering these expenses, all fellows will receive a Completion Award at the end of the Fellowship.</answer>

Successful applicants will likely possess skills that relate to the work demanded by the Fellowship. Additionally, previous experience traveling or working in the developing world will strengthen your application.
