Barbara Bush

President

Barbara graduated from Yale University in 2004 with a degree in Humanities. Barbara recently worked on Educational Programming at a Smithsonian museum in New York, the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. Previously, she worked at a children's hospital in South Africa. She has traveled extensively in Africa with UNICEF and the UN World Food Program.

Dave Ryan

Founding Director

Dave graduated from Stanford University in 2007 with a degree in International Relations and honors in International Security Studies. Dave previously worked at the Center on International Cooperation at New York University, and the Center for International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University. Dave served as Executive Director of FACE AIDS in 2007-2008 before co-founding and serving as the Founding Executive Director of the Global Health Corps from December 2008 - August 2009

Jonny Dorsey

Executive Director

Jonny, a co-founder of Global Health Corps, graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Human Biology with a concentration in “Addressing Health Disparities” in June 2009. He took a two-year leave of absence after his sophomore year to co-found FACE AIDS, where he served as Executive Director for two years before returning to school and transitioning to the board. Jonny was the President of the Student Body at Stanford in 2008-09, during which time he worked to promote a culture of public service on campus. Jonny was a leadership fellow at the Haas Center for Public Service, co-organized a retreat for emerging service leaders, and led an alternative spring break called “Changemakers: Perspectives on Public Service Leadership”. He received an Echoing Green Fellowship to support his role in Global Health Corps.

Charlie Hale

Co-Founder

Charlie Hale graduated from Colby College with a degree in Government. He's traveled throughout North Africa, most recently with the US State Department in Egypt. He currently works for Google in San Francisco.

Andrew Bentley

Co-Founder

Andrew graduated from Northwestern University in 2006 with a degree in Journalism. He joined the aids2031 Young Leaders in 2008. He currently works at Google, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Katie Bollbach

Program Director

Katie Bollbach graduated from Stanford University in June 2009 with a degree in International Relations and African Studies. In 2005 she took a year leave of absence from Stanford to co-found FACE AIDS and serve as the organization's Africa Program Director in Zambia. During her time in Zambia, Katie also served as Project Manager for FORGE in Mwange Refugee Camp. In 2007-08 Katie took a second leave of absence from Stanford to set up a FACE AIDS program in Rwanda in collaboration with Partners In Health. While in Rwanda Katie also served as PIH’s Microfinance Program Coordinator. Katie has previously worked for the Genocide Intervention Network, Ashoka, and AIDS-Free World, and has spent time volunteering in Tanzania, Costa Rica, Thailand, Ecuador, and India.

Jenny Miller

Chief Financial Officer

Jenny graduated from Fairfield University in 2007 with a degree in Marketing and is graduating with a MBA from the University of San Francisco in December. In addition to working at Global Health Corps, Jenny currently works in Finance at Google in Mountain View.
