Dalitso Laviwa was born and raised in southern Malawi. Passionate about data and evidence-informed interventions, he most recently worked as the National Program Officer overseeing child labor elimination programs at the Malawi Ministry of Labor. Dalitso has also worked at Parent and Child Health Initiative, United Nations Population Fund, and NICO Asset Managers Limited. He attended Chancellor College of the University of Malawi where he majored in economics and demography and helped form an organization called Students for Students Empowerment Programme to improve academic performance.
