"Regardless of economic status, race, country of origin and gender, everyone deserves the right to the same quality care, love, and compassion."

Mine was born in Benin City, Nigeria, and raised in the United States. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at Emory University. She later received her Master's in Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology and on Behavioral Science and Health Education from Saint Louis University. During her graduate studies she worked on projects aimed at reducing health barriers associated with prostate cancer screening among minorities and preconception health among women. Before joining GHC, she worked as a data analyst for Healthy City, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization. Her work there focused on eliminating inequities affecting marginalized communities through the use of GIS tools, community-based participatory mapping methods, and systems change initiatives. Mine is committed to reducing barriers to health equity and believes that social policies are tied to health policies. In her spare time, Mine enjoys hiking, biking, movies, and reading. She is also an avid soccer fan and a member of The Futbolistas, a socially active soccer league in Los Angeles.
