Peter is from Malawi. Prior to his GHC fellowship, Peter was the District Youth Officer for Lilongwe Urban in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, where he was responsible for developing, planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating youth programs focused on health and youth economic empowerment. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College. After graduating, he worked as a customer services consultant at Malawi Savings Bank in Blantyre and also handled the office budgets for the Malawian Ministry. Peter’s passion for sport comes to life both on and off the field as an active member of Malawi’s top soccer league, the Silver Strikers FCs, as well as through his continual work with the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
