Title: Program Manager
I need to advocate for the vulnerable class of people to ensuring their rights are not violated. Through advocacy, community sensitization and fundraising, I want to see health equity to be realized for all people regardless of their personal background and status.

Peter graduated from Makerere University Kampala-Uganda, where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. During his time at university, he was the organizing secretary for the College of Health Sciences’ efforts to advocate for and provide support to the vulnerable patients at Mulago Hospital through fundraising with the Gift Goes On program. Additionally, Peter led a team to enhance the well being of malnourished children in Tente Village of Kayunga District by preparing nutritious food (Ekitobero) using locally grown produce. Towards the end of his studies, he interned as a nurse with Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital. Prior to joining GHC, Peter worked at the Kampala International University-Western Campus (KIU-WC) as a teaching assistant for Maternal and Child Health and Health Service Management, and at Kayunga Hospital as a nursing officer graduate in the children's ward. During his time at KIU-WC, he advocated for increasing the number of seats in the classroom and improving Internet access on campus.
