Viviane is originally from Uganda. She completed her undergraduate degree in Health Science in Canada and was completing her Master's in Public Health at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine before joining GHC. She has always had a deep passion for public health and is predominantly interested in addressing health care inequities in developing countries. Viviane has attributed the source of this passion to her multi-nation habitats where she has been able to grasp the vast magnitude of the differences in health status. During her studies, Viviane has been involved in extensive activism work including campaigns for marginalized women, child soldiers and health awareness programs. She presently lives in Toronto, Canada, and loves live music, dancing, traveling, working out, outdoor activities and her family!
