Gaby Lopez, Senior Manager, People

Health equity is the baseline to any just and prosperous society. Access to health is the first step to dismantling systemic oppression and liberating the people to live full dignified lives.

Prior to joining GHC, Gaby worked as the Senior Generalist, People and Culture Team at 350.org, an international global movement working to end the age of fossil fuels and to rebuild a world of community-led renewable energy. She has led global justice, diversity, equity and inclusion programs and initiatives that have resulted in creating more equitable and safe work environments. Gaby holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Texas at El Paso and focused her undergraduate work in government and mass media communications at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Fun Fact: If Gaby could travel anywhere today, she would be on a plane to South Africa! She would love to experience its beauty, eat all the food and learn its history. And no trip is complete without her favorite snack – Hot Cheetos.
