As GHC’s Strategic Partnership Manager, Mera Boulus Grozier takes pride in her creative, people-centered, and inquisitive approach to designing and implementing fundraising strategy. A first-generation immigrant to the U.S. from Egypt, Mera believes deeply in the power of collaborating across lines of difference to shift the status quo.

Before joining GHC in 2016, Mera led professional development programming for ambitious, first-generation college students as the New Jersey Program Manager at America Needs You. Early in her career, she created and facilitated youth development workshops for middle and high school students. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and Education from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, where she was awarded the Rutgers Civic Scholar Certificate for her community involvement, and an M.S. Ed. in Community and Social Change from the University of Miami.

In her free time, Mera enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and experiencing new cultures with her husband, Ben.

Fun Fact: If Mera could recommend anything for the world to tune into, it would be the podcast This American Life and the book The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Both would pair perfectly with her favorite ice cream flavor – Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie.
