Mweene Chibbonta, Zambia Program and Operations Coordinator

Prior to joining GHC, Mweene worked with Living Water International in Zambia where she led fundraising efforts as well as supported project design and implementation for the Zambia country office. She has also worked at Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) in the capacities of Alumni Engagement Officer and Youth Programming Assistant. Her passion for the elimination of inequality for the most vulnerable has seen her dedicating her career towards program management and development. Mweene’s experience spans across diverse development programs which include Adolescent Youth Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (AYSRH), Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) as well as Health and Nutrition programs.
Mweene holds a BA in Development Studies and Public Administration from the University of Zambia and is currently pursuing an MA in Development Studies from the University of Lusaka.
