Kim Morgan hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While receiving her Master of Public Health from Boston University, Kim traveled to Ethiopia where she worked with Wide Horizons for Children to test a mobile data collection application in the northern town of Adwa. She received her undergraduate degree at Penn State University, majoring in health, policy and administration and minoring in psychology. At Penn State, Kim was an active volunteer for the university’s annual dance marathon to raise funds to support the fight against pediatric cancer. Since graduating from Boston University, Kim has been working for John Snow, Inc. with the company’s internal resource center for research, monitoring and evaluation. She has lived in Washington DC since the spring of 2014 and in her spare time enjoys running, painting and spending time with friends.
