Sandra Mapemba is the Deputy Director – Technical for the Health Policy Plus! Malawi USAID funded project. Her work involves working alongside line Government Ministry Departments and decision-makers on policy, evidence generation for advocacy, strategic communication, policy dialogue around Sexual Reproductive Health and Right (SRHR) – especially Family Planning (FP); Adolescent/Youth Health; Population and Development; HIV/AIDS; and RMNCAH.  This involves technical review and development of thematic policy briefs, infographics, and publications in these fields, including the review and finalisation of the Adolescent and Young Girls Strategy.  She has over 25 years’ experience in this field stemming from both academia and the development sector.
