Aarin Palomares hails from Georgia, USA. She is a passionate global health advocate. Prior to joining GHC, Aarin worked with RESULTS and the United Nations Foundation, where she used her knowledge and voice to address global challenges, such as maternal and child health, malaria, global education, and HIV. She previously worked as a research assistant with the Sparkman Center for Global Health, where she helped coordinate studies with local and international partners. Aarin received both her Bachelor of Science in public health and her Master of Public Health in healthcare organization and policy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In her free time, Aarin likes to go hiking, exploring new places and cultures (she’s been to 6 out of 7 continents!), and spending time with her family and friends. Aarin wants to utilize her skills to help strengthen health systems to improve access to appropriate healthcare in marginalized communities.
