Originally from Kampala, Uganda, Akullo Lillian is a public health practitioner with a social science background. In the fight for health equity, she is a fierce advocate who researches and documents injustices, especially in the area of sexual and reproductive health and rights. Prior to joining GHC, Akullo was a Program Manager at the National Association of Women’s Development in Action, a supervisor for the COVID-19 Response Task Force, and a Research Assistant at Neopenda. In her free time, Akullo enjoys nature, music, movies, and dancing.
