Author: Alexa Gudelsky

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, Alexa Gudelsky was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guinea and a U.S. Peace Corps National Malaria Coordinator in Rwanda prior to joining GHC. She studied international development, Spanish, and public health at Ohio State University and achieved her master's of public health in epidemiology at the University of Cincinnati. During her graduate studies, she worked with the American Red Cross’ International Services and participated in HRSA’s Graduate Student Epidemiology Program, partnering with Kansas Department of Health and Environment while collaborating with the WIC and Nutritional Services team. Some of her focuses included developing community refugee simulations, mentoring youth in international humanitarian law, and organizing fundraising campaigns for the Measles and Rubella Initiative.
