Originally from Minnesota, Alice Stoddart graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology and Sociology from Loyola University in Maryland in 2010. During her undergraduate career, Alice volunteered for Project HEALTH, where she helped clients at the Johns Hopkins Broadway Methadone Clinic gain access to community and health resources to support good health. She later became a coordinator for Project HEALTH at Loyola supervising volunteers at a community clinic in Baltimore, MD. In the summer of 2009, Alice was an intern at the University of Minnesota in the Pediatric Pulmonology Department. She studied abroad in Cape Town, South Africa, where she conducted a research project on HIV/AIDS and Male Circumcision, and volunteered with women and children at a TB hospital. Alice also spent time volunteering at the NPH orphanage in Honduras. On campus, she was an intern at the Center for Community Service and Justice. Alice plans to pursue a Masters in Public Health and attend medical school in 2011.
