A native of Kigali, Rwanda, Alice Umulisa’s work focuses on sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender-based violence, primary health care, nutrition, and research. Prior to joining GHC, she received her Bachelor’s degree in general nursing and became a Master’s degree candidate in Public and Global Health. She was also the Health Promotion Advisor at Young Women Christian Association Rwanda and is currently operating under the USAID ACHIEVE/DREAMS project to prevent HIV incidences and empower project participants. When she isn’t working, Alice enjoys reading books and exploring new places and hobbies with friends.
