Caleb Masusu hails from Ndola, Zambia, and currently serves as the Global Voice and Democracy Manager at Restless Development. Since taking on this role, he has provided tactical leadership to uplift global programs centered on digital rights and democratic governance. His work emphasizes empowering youth and ensuring civil society engages in advocacy efforts that promote equitable futures. His vital responsibilities include planning and executing large-scale advocacy campaigns in partnership with key organizations such as the University of Warwick and STOP AIDS. Caleb’s management of effective projects across Kenya, Ghana, and Vietnam demonstrates his commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of many. His supervision of grant management has been instrumental in achieving organizational goals, initiating lasting change in youth empowerment and civic engagement globally. As a GHC fellow, Caleb is eager to sharpen three key leadership skills: strategic decision-making, adaptability, and mentorship. He understands the impact of informed decisions and hopes to enhance his critical thinking to ensure positive results. His adaptability enables him to stay attuned to the ever-changing environment, and through mentorship, he aims to empower the next generation, particularly those from underprivileged communities.
