Caroline Achola hails from Buikwe, Uganda. She is passionate about inspiring and advocating for youth-friendly services that will help the youth achieve their dreams and enhance sustainable communities. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies from Gulu University. Prior to joining GHC, Caroline volunteered and worked as a Monitoring and Evaluations Officer at Girl Up Initiative Uganda for two and half years. During her time at Girl Up Intiative Uganda, she successfully led the completion of both a charity concert to raise funds that enabled girls to stay in school and a campaign against early marriages and teenage pregnancies. Caroline has also worked as a presiding officer during the 2016 election in Uganda for the village in Buikwe, Uganda. In her free time, Caroline enjoys reading and writing, learning new things, playing both indoor and outdoor games, and visiting places.
