Author: Catherine Naluggya Guntesse

Catherine hails from the Kampala District in Uganda. She is dedicated to improving access to healthcare by reviewing policies and working with local organizations to advocate for marginalized populations. Prior to joining GHC, Catherine worked as a Health Campaign Coordinator with Public Health Ambassadors Uganda to increase awareness and adoption of safe sexual and reproductive health practices in adolescents through an artistic approach, using skits, poems, and dance. Additionally, she worked as a Program Officer for the Youth Power in Governance Project, a program sponsored by Restless Development Uganda that aims to catalyze citizen engagement. In her free time, Catherine enjoys listening to music and reading literature reviews.
