Claire Balungi calls Iganga, Uganda home. Prior to joining GHC, Claire graduated from Makerere University with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Communication. She was the Global Health Security Associate at Johns Hopkins Centre for Communication Programs, a featured writer for The Daily Monitor newspaper, and the Communications Officer for Yo-Waste Inc., a tech builder of solutions for the waste management industry. Outside of work, Clarie enjoys wandering through abandoned buildings and collecting antiques.
