As a macro-level social worker who has lived outside of the US previously, I am committed to working to enhance the wellbeing of all people and eliminate global health disparities through research and policy analysis.

Claire Jensen grew up in San Francisco, California and Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Prior to joining GHC, she worked as a Policy Analyst at Long-Term Quality Alliance in Washington, D.C., where she supported research projects on services and supports for people with chronic health conditions. In her work as a Research Assistant at Social Intervention Group, a research center at Columbia University, Claire coordinated advisory board meetings with community members and other stakeholders for two research projects related to HIV risk reduction among justice-involved populations in New York City. Claire has a master’s degree in social work with a concentration in policy from Columbia University School of Social Work, and a bachelor’s degree in East Asian studies from Bryn Mawr College. She lived in China after college.
