Daniel Dut Athian was born in Aweil, South Sudan. In 2013, he was a part of the team that developed an Android mobile app that won first runner-up in the Community Innovation Awards hosted by Orange Telecom. Daniel completed his undergraduate degree in public health at International Health Sciences University, Uganda. He then went on to work for Orange Uganda Ltd. in the marketing department, followed by MultiPath as a mobile software developer prior to joining GHC. Daniel is passionate about technology geared towards healthcare and has developed several more android apps currently available on Google Play. He enjoys board games, especially chess and ludo, sightseeing, Taekwondo and venturing into new technologies.
