DeMarre Richmond has over five years of healthcare experience, specifically within the Medicaid and Medicare markets. He currently serves as Public Health Analyst at the D.C. Department of Health, where he leads the development and delivery of public health practice, policy, process, and operational improvements in highly competitive and regulated marketplaces. Previously, DeMarre worked as a Clinical Quality Improvement Analyst and Linkage to Care Specialist where he focused on Maternal Child Health, Chronic Diseases, and HIV prevention. DeMarre is currently a student at Morgan State University School of Community and Health Policy (SCHP) DrPH. DeMarre has a Master’s in Public Health from the Morehouse School of Medicine and is a proud graduate of North Carolina Central University where he served as Mister North Carolina Central Univeristy 2014-2015 and received the Community Impact Award. DeMarre plans to work for the federal goverment and open a community based center focused on Maternal Health and Harm Reduction.
