A native of Kigali, Rwanda, Denise has worked to advance health equity throughout her career in health services by promoting free screenings for non-communicable diseases for the public. During her time in college, Denise participated in an internship with a startup which allowed her to develop her skills and prompt her degree presentation. Prior to joining GHC, Denise interned with Health Builders as a Program Support and Monitoring and Evaluation assistant which led to her acquiring a full-time position. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies and learning new languages.
