Edward comes from the Soroti district of Eastern Uganda. He completed his undergraduate studies at Makerere University with a concentration in Conservation Biology. While at university, he worked closely with the National Association of Professional Environmentalists to advocate for Uganda’s environmental protection. Additionally, Edward worked as project coordinator with Africare Uganda, where he successfully implemented four projects: the Uganda/USAID PL480 Title II multi-year assistance program that spanned eight districts in Teso-sub region; the WFP Purchase for Progress program that covered four districts in Teso-Sub region; the Safe Drinking Water for Uganda project funded by Proctor & Gamble; and the Improved Access to Community Nutrition and Health project funded by UPS.
