Evelyn Kasambara hails from Nkhatabay, Malawi. She believes that technology is a significant agent for change in accelerating justice for vulnerable people. Most recently, Evelyn worked as a project manager at mHub, where she led Malawi’s first human rights portal called Ufulu Wanga. Evelyn also worked as a project officer at FHI360 and a social worker at The Samaritan Trust, where she led a major walk that was aimed at sensitizing Malawians to the need for care, protection and promotion of the rights of street children. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, and watching reality TV and football. She received a Master of Social Work from The University of Pretoria.
