Author: Faith Mulungi

Born and raised in Kampala, Uganda, Faith Mulungi attended Makerere University for her bachelor’s degree where she majored in psychology and minored in international relations. In her second year, Faith interned at Youth Social Work Association where she acquired skills in community work and she later volunteered at Uganda AIDS Commission. She then earned a master’s degree in clinical psychology at Makerere University while practicing at Butabika Referral Hospital. Her passion in mental health led her to work with marginalized groups such as refugees and war and torture victims at Transcultural Psychosocial Organization, where she worked as a clinical psychologist from 2015 to 2016. Faith is a big fan of art and likes to make art paintings, bead, and do interior and exterior design. She also enjoys visiting new places.
