Faustin Katembo Nkundakozera is from Rwanda and did his elementary school education in Democratic Republic of Congo. He completed his undergraduate studies at the National University of Rwanda (NUR) in the Faculty of Social, Political and Administrative Sciences and graduated with a degree in in Public Administration. While he was at NUR, he was elected as the Chairman of the Association of the Students in Political Science and Public Administration, which was founded with the purpose of being responsive to the community. After completing his undergraduate studies, he got a two year fellowship from Rwanda HIV Public Interest Fellowship Program (RHPIFP), a program run by NUR through its School of Public Health in collaboration with Tulane University. The program placed him in Monitoring and Evaluation Management Services (MEMS) for a USAID project, where he worked until joining the Global Health Corps. He is a devoted Christian who enjoys worshipping in fellowship with friends and those who love God.
