Innocent Chansa hails from Livingstone, Zambia. Prior to joining GHC, Innocent led research and fundraising efforts as a Research and Grants Lead at Contact Trust Youth Association, a youth NGO. His team won a research grant from the Grand Challenges Canada Options Initiative Portfolio to pilot an adolescent sexual and reproductive health rights school-based innovation. He also volunteered as a Young Leader and Researcher for the MasterCard Foundation and Restless Development Youth Think Tank. In addition, Innocent led a team at Chedic Associates that won funding to conduct research on in-school adolescent experiences with comprehensive sexuality education. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games (FIFA) and listening to music.
