"I want every day of my life to count, not only for me, but also for people around me as well."

Jean Michel is from Kigali, Rwanda. He completed his undergraduate studies at Nihon University, College of Engineering, majoring in Architecture. After he returned to his hometown, he first worked at the newly established Embassy of Japan in Rwanda, helping to draft contracts with Rwandan firms and other daily tasks. A year later, he joined the architecture field, where he worked at Workforce Development Authority (WDA) as the Physical Planning and Design Specialist, mainly designing for public technical secondary schools and vocational centers. His major contribution to the team has been environmental sustainability awareness in the design process. The beautiful Butaro Hospital designed by MASS Design Group together with the impact the hospital has on the local populations, was his major motivation to join GHC.
