Jessica Turner hails from Buckinghamshire, England. She is a firm believer that nobody should be restricted from accessing the health care that they deserve as a result of circumstance. Prior to GHC, Jessica worked for OneVillage Partners, a community-led development organisation based in rural Sierra Leone. While completing her master's degree in Transnational Studies at University College London, Jessica volunteered with SEED Madagascar on a women's sustainable livelihoods project and was then offered a position as Project Officer for the same project. Jessica loves photography, reading, cooking, music and exploring. She looks forward to becoming part of a network of like-minded individuals, who strive to ask the challenging questions needed to shake up the status quo that has enabled so much inequity.
