Author: Jolynn Meza Wynkoop

Jolynn Meza Wynkoop currently serves as the Project Director/Data Coordinator for the Helping Impact Women and Youth Grant with Samaritan Health Services (SHS). She has been employed with SHS since November 2019 and has worked on three Health Resource and Services Administration Rural Community Opioid Response Program grants. In her current role, Jolynn serves as a programmatic lead in ensuring grant activities are conducted, engages community partners, and develops data collection tools for reporting progress. Jolynn has spent time in the Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest conducting research on parasitic infections and clean water access. Additionally, she has spent time in Peru with the Catholic Medical Mission Board as a volunteer where she assisted in water, sanitation, and hygiene projects. Jolynn received her bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University and a Master's of Science in Global Health from the University of Notre Dame.
