Author: Kelly Imathiu Kanando Muteti

Kelly is from Nairobi, Kenya. He completed both his undergraduate degree in Environmental Health and his MPH specializing in epidemiology and disease control, at Moi University Eldoret. In 2011, Kelly worked with UHAI, the East African Sexual Health Rights Initiative, as a Programmes and Grants assistant, supporting the growth and development of the LGBTI and sex worker organization throughout East Africa. Prior to joining GHC, Kelly worked with the Hivos Foundation as the Junior Programme Officer supporting women’s rights, sexual reproductive health rights, equality and non-discrimination of LGBT persons, and good governance organizations in East Africa. Kelly enjoys debates and dialogues around sexual diversity, pre-colonial sexuality, and diverse cultures.
