Kullein Ankunda hails from Kampala, Uganda. She has experience in community engagement, human-centered design, and social behavioral change communication. Additionally, she is passionate about using technology to bridge the access gap between users and providers of health services. Kullein is a published author as well as an avid writer and blogger who uses her voice to advocate for health equity. She founded Malketha Maternal Services, a program that focuses on providing respectful, affordable maternal and mental health services adapted specifically to Uganda. Kullein enjoys reading, traveling, inventing new recipes, and participating in the Kampala Amateur Drama Society.
