Lindsey grew up in Reno, Nevada with four siblings. She graduated from University of California, Davis in 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering. During her final year at Davis, Lindsey worked with the biotech company, Genentech. Upon graduating, she moved to South Africa to volunteer with the Biomedical Engineering lab at the University of Cape Town. Her work with the University of Cape Town led to her placement with the Foundation for Alcohol Related Research (FARR) in De Aar, South Africa, where she helped to create a computerized data management system to track and monitor the program's progress. Her work at FARR inspired her apply for a graduate degree at Boston University, where she is working towards a Master’s in Public Health, focused on monitoring and evaluation. Upon completing her fellowship with GHC, she will return to Boston to complete her master’s degree. Lindsey loves the mountains, skiing and camping with family and friends.
