Madalitso calls himself a "true son" of Malawian soil. He was born in the Mchinji district, grew up in Lilongwe and went to school in Zomba. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Malawi, Chancellor College, majoring in Statistics and Biology. He went on to obtain a Master's in Biostatistics at the same institution. Before joining GHC, Madalitso served as a part-time lecturer in Statistics for one year at Chancellor College and participated in a number of consultancies and statistical research projects. He also presented research findings at the National Research and Dissemination Conference held at Crossroads in Lilongwe, Malawi, whose theme was "Towards Evidence-Based Policy Decision Making." His ambition is to become a health researcher with an impact in his home country. He dreams of a society that is built upon principles of equality and solidarity, one that recognizes and understands the dignity of every human being.
