Author: Melody Kukundakwe

Melody Kukundakwe is a passionate Ugandan advocate for women and children's health. She desires to play her role in seeing that the number of mothers and babies that die worldwide from pregnancy-related conditions drops to zero. Melody believes that realizing this dream will require more than just hospitals and health workers – everyone from journalists to accountants to architects has a part to play. Melody has worked in both print media and communications and has written for a number of national newspapers and international blogs. She most recently worked for Greenwatch Uganda as the Communications and Advocacy officer. Melody holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and is pursuing a master’s degree in public health leadership at Uganda Christian University.
