Melody Nalwendo Simataa originates from Livingstone, Zambia. She acquired her bachelor's degree from the University of Zambia, majoring in demography with a minor in development studies. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree. Prior to joining GHC, Melody worked with German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) as a capacity development intern. She also worked with the National AIDS Council as a data assistant on the National Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) evaluation. Melody has a passion for using evidence from research to make a difference in communities. she is also passionate about the youth and the public health issues that affect them. Melody enjoys reading novels, baking, and watching movies in her free time.
