Originally from Mazabuka, Zambia, Mwansa Kanyanta is passionate about sexual and reproductive health and rights, women's rights, and child protection. Prior to joining GHC, Mwansa began her career with Family Health International 360 through a USAID youth-led internship and mentorship program where she was recognized as one of the best youth leaders in her cohort. She also worked as a Data Entry Officer with Zambia Health Education and Communications Trust. As a member of the USAID Digital Youth Council, she contributed to strategies aimed at protecting children against digital harm. When she isn’t working, Mwansa enjoys traveling and listening to music.
