Author: Mwansa Mushota

Mwansa Mary Mushota is from Ndola, Zambia. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Zambia in Lusaka where she majored in demography and development studies. While in college, Mwansa interned on a project focused on HIV/AIDS work, where she helped the project acquire the necessary supplies and resources to help sustain a long-term community project. She then went on to work as a research assistant for a project evaluating HIV and family planning service modeling projects where she worked directly on data collection. Mwansa is a member of the Rotary Club working to restore a mental health ward and a skill lab for a school for people with disabilities. In her free time, she enjoys camping, baking and swimming.
