Title: Community Nutrition Support Fellow
To me, health equity means promoting the realization of citizen's rights to access health services and information for the betterment of their lives. It includes building the capacity of the community to demand for health services and deal with health issues that are rampant in their societies for such as malnutrition. The main emphasis is promoting means and ways of eliminating avoidable inequalities in health service delivery and care systems.

Mzondi Ziba is originally from the Ngoni Tribe in Mzimba, Malawi. He received a bachelor’s degree in human nutrition and food science from the University of Malawi. While at university, he worked with the school to pilot a Monitoring and Evaluation course for nutrition majors. Mzondi has worked with MAICC, a local Malawi organization that promotes improved livelihood, health and nutritional wellbeing for individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. He initiated and implemented a nutrition project that resulted in nutrition behavior change among the target community. Prior to joining GHC, Mzondi received his master’s degree in human nutrition from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources in Malawi.
