Priyanka Patel is from Lusaka, Zambia. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University with a major in Biology and a minor in Economics. During her undergraduate studies, Priyanka was a member of GlobeMed and also interned with Safe Kids USA to gain experience in the field. She later went to work with Planned Parenthood Association of Zambia. Priyanka completed her Master’s of Science in Global Health and Development at the University College of London and prior to joining GHC, managed a charity called Out to Africa. She enjoys dancing and is a Zumba instructor.
