Radhika Bhavsar grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She majored in Health Studies and Physiology at Michigan State University. During college, she studied abroad in Ghana to explore healthcare access at the community and government level. After graduating from MSU, Radhika went on to complete her Master of Public Health in Behavioral Science, Health Promotion, and Global Health from New York Medical College. She worked as a consultant on a population health program for Navy Medicine to create a scalable, cost-efficient model to provide patient-centered quality healthcare within the military community. She also volunteered as a Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Victims Advocate for San Diego County. Prior to GHC, she engineered and implemented a new electronic medical record system for Scripps Health.
