Author: Ruth Uwera

Ruth Uwera was born and raised in Tabora, Tanzania. She completed her primary studies in Tanzania and shifted to Rwanda in 2003 where she completed her secondary education. She attended university in India from 2010 to 2015, where she completed her first bachelor's degree and master’s degree in statistics with computer applications and her second bachelor's degree in population studies in Annamalai University in 2013. After graduating from Annamalai University, and prior to joining GHC, she interned with the Rwanda Ministry of Education, whose mission is to transform the Rwandan citizen into skilled human capital for socio-economic development of the country by ensuring equitable access to quality education focusing on combating illiteracy, and promotion of science and technology, critical thinking, and positive values.
