Title: Advocacy and Communications Officer
I was motivated to become a GHC fellow to grow as a storyteller through firsthand experience with public health and to give back to the countless health professionals and patients who have graciously shared their stories with me over the years.

Stacey Naggiar lives in Brooklyn, New York. She attended Wake Forest University where she majored in biology and minored in art history. Since graduating, Stacey has been cultivating a career in medical journalism. She spent five years in the medical unit at NBC News, reporting on everything from the latest studies in top health journals to medical breakthroughs and international crises, like the Ebola epidemic in West Africa. Over the last year, Stacey has broadened her storytelling skills as an associate producer for the documentary series VICE on HBO, working on films about HIV/AIDS, ALS, fecal transplants, climate change, and energy. In her spare time, you'll find Stacey reading the health and science sections of the New York Times or cooking.
