Susan Kabasinguzi is from Kabarole District in Uganda. She completed her undergraduate education at Makerere University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in community psychology. She chose to study psychology to better understand people’s behavior in relation to their community. During her studies, Susan traveled to Rwanda to assess the impact of the Rwandan genocide on the people of Nyamata. She also worked to mobilize the youth of Kabarole District, Lira to plant pumpkins on a large scale to improve income for the local people and work to eradicate poverty and hunger.
